Kids in the Park!
During the spring of 2001 the Michigan Department of Natural Resources launched the "Kids In The Park" program, by offering fourth grade teachers study materials and free reservations in one of the the state's 96 parks and recreation areas, in order to promote the study of Michigan's outdoor heritage and natural features.
