A Note from the Founder and President:

To say that the I have a passion for the outdoors, may be an under statement. This website is a testament to my commitment to a vision of living the Sportsman's dream. Having been raised in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan along the shores of Lake Superior has given me an appreciation for what they call "Gods Country". Although it was not until after college that got serious about hunting, fishing and camping, it has always been a part of my life.

Most of my outdoor experience comes from the northwoods and lakes of Upper Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada. Through these experiences and those to come, I hope to share the outdoors on the pages of www.sportsmans-link.com.

Sportsmans-Link.com History
The story of Sportsmans-Link.com began out of a bit of my own frustration trying to find all the key web sites I needed when I was preparing to go hunting, fishing or camping. I could never remember all the links the DNR, weather, maps, reports, etc., so I decided to build one site that has everything I needed. Well after a few months of gathering all the data and three different designs, I finally launched Sportsmans-Link.com in March of 2003. The rest is as they say history.

Since that initial launch I have added many features, partnered with some of the top outdoor writers and continue to build content and links. In March of 2004, I incorporated the company into a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and now we are officially Sportsmans-Link.com, LLC.
