Upper Michigan Hunter Successful Opening Day
Jack Barry of Ahmeek area bagged this nice eight pointer opening morning of the Michigan's Deer Hunt. This brute came cruizing by about 8:40 a.m. and was taken with one shot using a 30-30. The buck had 8 typical points, but had one broken off which would have made it a nine pointer. The inside spread was 15 & 7/8 inches and it weighed 155 lbs. (click on the image to make larger)
